1998 camaro v6 having prolems

1998 camaro v6 having prolems

My car recently has got the engine light on it even was blinking at one point then was steady it was misfiring i guess or running weird and if you stepped on the gas around 2,000 RPM it would studer or hesitate lack of power too i think just got a tune up still has problem Another problem it is having is my cigarette lighter dosent work no i dont smoke i use it for my gps to power it and i went to autozone to have them scan it and my obd2 port didnt power it so they said it could be a fuse what fuse would could it be and where i have a 1998 camaro any help appreciated

Take it by your local auto parts store and ask to borrow their scanner. if the check engine light is on, a code will be stored.

If the OBDII port doesn't have the proper power, check the fuses. They are located on the left side of the dashboard. Open the driver's door, and there is a little plastic snap-in door on the side of the dash. There should be a diagram. Check all the ones for the ECM/PCM. There is also a box of larger fuses and relays on the driver's side under the hood.
