Ive heard mixed views of putting in a 160 Thermostat. Is it ok to put one on my car? People have told me that it will mess up the computer on the car. Is it worth it to get one?

 

In a 99' it will throw a code or 2 with a 160 themo stat.
It won't screw any thing up to to bad.

 

my buddy has one if his 98...no problems...he has the slp switch too...nice to have...

 

Ill get one in a few days. I just dont want my car to start acting funny or lose any power. As long as it wont mess up the car Ill get one. BTW, I was thinking about getting that fan switch between now and xmas so it will work out.
