z28 vs. wrx & z28 vs caddy +daytona

First I'm driving a 2001 A4 Z28.
First race, there was an older Caddy and a Dodge Daytona racing eachother down the freeway, I followed them till we were all lined up at a stop light. Goes green, we all gun it, right away the Dodge pulls a car length due to having 375 ft/lbs of torque and me having winter tires.
At around 70 km I rip by him, and take endless car lengths when I shut down at 140 :P.
We both left the older caddy a couple blocks behind.

Second race.
There is a newish Subaru wrx full of a bunch of very young teenagers just ripping around. In fact while exiting the traffic circle, I'm on the inside lane exiting and they are in the outside, on their exit, they unknowingly just drift into my lane and if I didn't slow down and pay attention, that would have been a nice little accident.
Anyways, a light turns red in front of us, but I purposely didn't pull up beside them because I know they have AWD, and with my winter tires still on and stock A4 trans, I wouldn't stand a chance.
After the light turns green we both start moving forward, and I pull into the lane beside him and accelerate ahead of him till I'm at 60km, which one of the sweet spots for my A4 trans , I just coast at that speed, waiting for the WRX to come up beside me to show off to his friends.
He pulls up and I wait to hear the sound of him pushing down his gas pedal and his engine roaring. He does, and I follow suit a split second after. He has a bit of a head start due to nailing it first. We go to about 120km and in that time I pull about 1 car length on him till I shut down.
I heard a whining from his car, are those things turbo'd?

I love Daytona's :-) I have a Shelby Z and a IROC R/T so I'm biased towards em ;-)

Yah lol, that's how drag racing goes out here on the star cluster Beta-097. We always race to infinity, then beyond.
