z28 vs Eclipse GST

So yesterday night i was up at Mc.Donalds and this guy pulls up a lot of my friends knew him and there like why don't you race him. I don't know anything about eclipse gst's or gsx's or anything like that. So anyway im like why not. So we went from a 35-40 mile an hour role i started in third (bad idea) by about 90-100 i had 2-3 cars on him. We decided to run again we went from 35-40 again this time i put it in second and i hit about 110 and put 4-5 car's on him maybe more. I know nothing about these car's im just curious what they run in the quater and how much hp do they have. I don't know if this is anything to brag about since i don't even know anything about the car. Not sure on the year of it and the only mod was exhaust i believe.

Ohh ya i also realized after we raced i left my AC on. So i probably could have done a little better.

A/C turns off under WOT so that didn't matter. Sounds about right on a stock GST/GSX. They are a around 15.0 second car stock (2nd gen), slower with a auto. BTW, did you get the Mc.Rib at McDonalds?

not sure of the times but, you probably would've done better against a gsx since it is the same car, only awd
either way, good race
i have been wondering for some time how a z28 would stack up against one of them (an lt1 that is )

Good kill. Those cars are nothing. My friend and I beat one in his 3.8 camaro with intake, and 3.42's that camaro is an auto and the gst was a stick. The gst had exhaust and a bov. We went from like 20-85 and beat him by about 4-5 cars. He had a passanger and I was in my friends car so no weight disavantage from a passanger. He thought we were in a z28 when he lost that bad. But again good kill, but nothing that your car can't handle on a daily basis.

Good kill. As far as horsepower it's like 200 or 215 or somewhere in there. Watch out for the ones with a bigger turbo though. All in all they're not that fast, but not bad for a two liter car. Pretty fun to drive too (had one before I got the Z).
