This kid wants to run me in the 1/4 to see how his '91 Chevy S-10 will do. He said its got this and that. I saw the motor, it's a V-6 with a throttle body spacer and a K&N filter. ooooooh! I told him I would run him for $100 and will give him 10 cars, he says 15 and he'll do it. What do ya think. This truck is pretty much stock with an auto. Should I school him and take his money?????

 

Only fast s10 are v8 ones usually although guess if you put a big turbo and or enough spray you might get fast. They are pretty light but a normal warmed over v6 is slow and doubt it can break 16s.So considering you should be in the 12s depending on altitude 10 to 15 cars is likely fine. You should be beating him by like 30 or more cars is my guess at 1 car for every 10th.

I say go for it..

 

With your mods you should be able to catch him. The only fast s-10s are the syclones that ran 13s stock with a turbo v6.

 

Do it! Just be sure that he has what you think he has. You can never be too careful.

I'm just wondering how this guy can be so stupid as to think he'll actually beat you even with 15 cars. And to bet $100? My bet is this guy ain't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.

Exactly guys, this punk kid has no add ons at all. Just a little too over confident with his truck. My guess is he probably ran a worn out 3rd generation V-6 Camaro and thinks he can beat us all. lol I'll set it up and let you know how it goes tomorrow.
