After having its original coat sucked off by my Z I was heading to the gym 2 days ago when I see a blue WRX behind me with a body kit. I give it a little gas to let him know I wanted to play and he took the bait. There was a good amount of traffic, so I kinda figured we would both just end up giving up since there was no open road ahead, but the WRX seemed pretty persistant. After a few BS races (that ended with one of us having to slow down for traffic ahead), we finally got some open road. We slowed to around 30 mph, I waited for him to hit it 1st, he wouldnt jump so I did He gets on it about a fraction of a second after I do, but I have a feeling it wouldnt of mattered anyways. About 7 cars was the result by the time I let off. I look in my rearview and here comes the ricer flyby. Oh no! He beat me afterall! He gets behind me now, and the road im turning onto is usually crawling with cops. Its also a residential area with kids playing outside most of the time. I figure that he had enough, and that him turning onto the street with me is just a coincidence. Well he ends up riding my *** hardcore for about half a mile and then pulls the dumbest move ive ever seen in my life (keep in mind im in the left lane on a two lane road). He passes ON THE LEFT of me (goes into a turn lane then speeds ahead of me and cuts back in front) PUTS HIS HAZARDS ON and then makes a u turn. The punks car is so slow he barely makes it by me when he passes me in the turn lane. Anyways, ive never seen such immaturity after losing a race. I hope his mom read him a good bed time story that night to make him feel better about losing that race because based on what I saw the person driving had the mentality of a 5 year old. Anyways sorry for the long post but I have to vent to SOMEBODY and it might as well be my buddies on camaroz28.com.........later guys!

P.S. for all the import guys on this board I dont know exactly what he had done to it. It A) had a loud exhaust B) had a loud turbo C) had a blow off valve........thats all I could gather from hearing the car

This will sound stupid, I'm not up on the ricer thing, so what exactly does it mean when they flash the hazards like you said. Was he trying to say he owned you?

The hazards thing means pretty much what you said. I think its pretty much considered to be in the ricer domain, since jokes I hear about it always have ricers involved. I have seen street racing videos though of domestic guys doing the same thing, but those were organized street races.

Yeah some people just can't handle getting beaten. If you're in front of them they'll do anything to get in front of you. Ego problem. From what I've seen it's pretty much limited to the imports because most domestic V8 people don't feel like they have anything else to prove once they win. I've had a lot of people ride my a$$ or fly around me after it's over, and I let em. They try to act like they're cool, but in the back of their heads they know who got owned.

 

So you're trying to tell me that he did a "Ricer Flyby" and put his Hazards on?! What is this world coming to...Nice Kill.

 

That's me I think Although the vette has blown it's 2nd tranny and is on life support in the garage.

Btw, to whoever said ricers are the only ones who do flyby's, think again. 3 years ago I raced a c5 in my sc'd c4. By 120 I had put about 10-12 cars on him.....slowed down to hit my exit, and he came roaring past me doing well over a 100 (I was doing about 40 at the time)....then hit his hazards as I was starting to turn off on the exit. Lol.
