WOW , Im glad Im not the only one that goes thrue this , I couldnt count on both hands the amount of times A big chevy has tryed to race me .....Big Dodges are just as bad . There was this one guy in a 72 chevy truck , he ran a 14.0 at the track that night . When we left he kept hopping at my best friend in his 98 LS1 , wich BTW ran an easy 13.0 that night ...This guy really thought he was going to win . He had this serious look in his face . Drives me nuts , Eddie broke down and raced him , blew his doors off . I wont waste my time trying to race one of those big beeeeesterd trucks .
Then there is something about those guys in the v8 explorer's , they think they have a 4x4 lambo or something ...

Wannna bet? My freinds runs 13.92 in the 1/4 with a smaller pully and a thermostat.


Anyway I raced my friend. He was in his 87 cutlass saloon and I was in my mothers 00 camry. He pulled wicked hard and it took me almost the whole 1/4 mile to pass him, He mifht have even beat me. I was sh!ttin my pants laughin at how slow a friggin camry is. THEY SUCK!

 

Worst race ever: I was stopped at a light, and a kid (probably 16) pulls up next to me in a beat up, bright blue, late '80s Ford AEROSTAR! The kid looks over at me, and throws a rev. I couldn't help myself, and I just started laughing. The kid didn't like that, so he gave me the finger and threw more revs. When the light turned green, I pulled 3 car lengths on him before I shifted to second (BTW, I was not even trying), and I was still laughing at him when he gave me the "fly-by" about a mile or so later.

 

I guess , nobody has told you about those Aerostars , They are a force to be reckend with .
