Yeah he may have not beat the bike, but he sure did beat the rider. I am sure that if I handed my bike to someone with little expierience on a bike they would end up running a high 11 second 1/4 mile if they made it to the end without flipping it over. If the guy on the bandit didn't know what he is doing he could be running 14's no problem, or he could have missed a shift, there are so many things that could have happened. That is why it is a race between operators, not as much the vehicle. Yeah if you put a good rider on that bandit it should be able to run mid 11's no problem.

I have raced a few bikes and won...but at my car was running 12.0's at the time...your barely busting 13's dude.

I raced a guy the other night in my Lightning...older bike, thought I might give him a run...mind you my Lightning runs 12.9's@108...effortlessly put 7-8 cars on me by 100 MPH with me getting the jump. Got my **** handed to me. I doubt I could have taken him in my Z28 when it was running 11.7's.
Actually my **** did beat that bike, i never claimed it was because my car was faster, i even said i didnt wanna race because i knew it was pointless. He didnt miss any shifts obviously it was driver error i just posted what happend, you can believe it or not i could care less. Guess you woulndt believe it unless you were there.

I have yet to have anyone even come within 8 car lengths (probably more) of catching up with me on my gixxer. Seriously, it's like 0-100 in the blink of an eye

Why are you guys busting on him so bad. Coming from someone that rides bikes more than I ride a car I know that anything can happen. If you have a guy on a Hayabusa that can't drive for **** he can loose to a damn Saturn. Racing a motorcycle is a hell of a lot harder than a car and one little screw up will flop the whole race. The guy won, weather his car should be able to do it or not he won. Congats again guy, keep it up.

Ya'll need to listen to Busa , he's aware that on a high end bike , you better be aware of what you are doing !! If you don't, its wheel spin or the front end comes up , and Bang , you've lost !! I've run a few high end bikes and won a few and lost a few , I'd really like to run a Busa with a good rider !!! If you've got the nuts to run a bike , then its Kudos and Accolades , Whether or not you won or lost !!!! ( It's NOT just a GIVIN !! )

If you lived closer I'd be willing to run, all in fun no matter what the outcome. I just love seeing races no matter what the hell happens because you never know how it is going to turn out.

Thx again. Someone knows what they are talking about.

Thx Tyler

CANTON about those times in your sig.., im sure you run those exact same times (or even better) on the street too cause we all know the street has as good as or better conditions than the track.

Did you even read my 2nd post regarding him calling me wanting to race? I guess going on my 3rd honk 25-130 doesnt qualify as a race. Weird.

Actually, my Lightning hooks hard as hell on the street. I wish it hooked as well at the track. That is with stock F1's @ 32 psi leaving off idle. I run the tires I drive to the track to and which is a 90 mile round trip. Run 93 octane in my Z28 and Lightning, 87 in the V6. No hidden magic here.

The only difference from track vs. street is I can open the hood.
