Viper Slayed!

Poetic translation of this post:

Out rolling around late,
in my Zee Twenty Eight.
Stopped at a light, what do I see?
An SRT-10 rolls up next to me.

Light turns to green and I hit the gas,
the Viper does too, and he's pulling away fast.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
the hand of God pushing my car from the rear.

Moments passed, I was going so fast,
the Viper's lead was not going to last.
I looked at the driver as I flew past,
The Devil himself, completely aghast.

Against all odds, I won the race
through God's might and grace.
A better engine has never been done,
than the Chevy V8 called LT1.

I think all kill stories should be written like that from now on.

Re: Viper Slayed!

Very nice poem, the other one I like is:

“The Christmas Story”

Twas the night before Christmas and caught at the light,
Was a domestic V8 and no cops in sight,
I will try, I will try, I will try with this small motor,
To beat this damn Camaro, even with its big blower,
As the light goes green and I pull like no joke,
The Camaro erupts in clouds of tire smoke,
Now Smasher, now Rev-ver, now Stroker, now Blitzin,
These are the names of my four VTEC pistons,
Racing ahead I'm the star of the action,
But I know I'm in trouble when V8 gets traction,
Grabbing second, I hear the RPM's sing,
My mirror is blocked by my shopping kart wing,
I now hear the roar of the big monster gaining,
All I can do is keeping the four-banger straining,
In a second, the shock wave hits with a blast,
And my stickers go flying now a thing of the past,
Don't bother with third, cause now it's too late,
Just try to act cool, like you can relate,
Looking up at the taillights as they get smaller,
The driver back off just to give me a holler,
"You can't win them all," he says in fling,
"You may not win any, in that silly thing,"
I smiled and revved as he pulled out of sight,
With my new mods tomorrow…it will be a better night.

Good Kill!

LOL!!!!! Now thats classic. I really like how this guy tells us we need to be more respectful and then he goes and S**t talks everyones sig. What a pole smoker. He is the kind of LT-1 guy that gives us all a bad name. I do like the poetic format rule. Funny S**T.
