similar times to the mach 1 with a 97 trap? whatever magazine got a 13.6 at only 99mph.

Personally i think we're going to see the fastest times out of the A5's with tuning and gears. They're already getting 1.9 60' with them.

That's good. Maybe this is just a bad example of the '05 GT. A 97 mph trap is right there with the stock LT1. It's VERY early to tell how well they will perform, but I'm guessing that it will be much closer to LT1 territory than LS1 territory.

We'll see much better examples this next summer when more owners have these cars and make their way to the track.

Bone stock I trapped 98mph in 90 degree 80% humidity weather. Getting the '05 GT to increase it's traps from 97 up to 102-107(LS1 territory), is a big change, but we'll see.

BTW, I thought the GTO looked pretty good for it's mods. The 105 mph trap shows that the power is there, especially for such a heavy car. It's just that the launch needs work for a much better e.t.
