Turbo Thunderbird

Yesterday I'm coming to a stop at this 2-lane traffic light near my house & I see one of those older turbo thunderbirds coming up behind me. I was in the right lane & the left was clear so he took it. Light goes green & I gave it all she had. All of the sudden me & my friend hear this loud swooshing sound, but where is the thunderbird? I look in my side mirror & he is still atleast 1 car length behind, & struggling to catch up. So finally after a couple hundred feet he slowly passes us & goes whooshing by. Sounded pretty cool but I thought it would have been faster. By the way, I was in my dad's 95' Chevy Z-71.

Re: Turbo Thunderbird

What year turbo thunderbird? T-Birds have NEVER been fast, they have always been for looks and luxury
But NEVER under-estimate the power of a WORK TRUCK. Did you read my kill in the kill-section I made w/ my 166k Eddie Bauer Edition full-size bronoc against a mid-high 90's honda?

Re: Turbo Thunderbird

I use to have a supercharged v6 nissan frontier with a huge grill guard and rear bumper and could take on dodge ram v8 magnums and civics. definently was not a truck built for speed only pushing 220 hp but im the kind of person that will race you in a car without a engine if you step up weather i know i will lose or not

Thank you I dont think the honda owner thought it was too terribly funny after he pulled into his friends drive-way and gave me a bewildered-stare
