what do you expect from an abomination like the sts/other rear mount turbos? personally i think its a waste of money. sure it makes power and runs ok numbers but i just dont see the point.

Havn't previewed the movie yet, but I am neutral to this convo. I have seen some kick-a$$ STS systems, yet I have seen some dog-a$$ed STS systems

Same here. I just cant see paying $3700 for a system that my car may or may not respond to well. I would prefer to spend a little extra and go with the traditional style turbo setup with everything mounted up front, intercooled, and all.

Re: Turbo Camaro

Everyone thinks you can just bolt on a turbo kit and go fast. They forget having a tune, doing a PROVEN and correct fuel system and on and on. 3,700 for a crappy rear mount I spent about 5k+ on my PTK kit A2W and that was without a turbo. You need atleast 3,700 to upgrade your ecu and fuel and ignition systems. THese rear mounts to my knowledge arent capable of the maximum 1,200hp that the F-body PTK kits are. Granted not everyone wants 1,000rwhp( they do, they just dont like the price tag!) but its nice to know your kit is capable. PTK on the street, mustang or camaro you will see someone s*****g there pants as they make a pass. I have seen a few stangs with PTK's onboard. WOW. And you thought mustangs were slow. People just need to get over the novelty of this rear mount bs and do it right the first time. Front mount PTK
