Tires's

what are some good tires to get, for the track, for a 2000 ls1 6 speed, i thought about some nitto drag radials, but i dont want to risk breaking the rearend, what are some good street tires

I have a 98Z with a 6 speed and I hook up pretty well with the BFG KDW's 285/40/17. I have a friend that went with the nitto drags (not too wide) and it took him like 5 passes to finally get used to how they hook up. starting at mid 13's and ending up at mid 12's I guess it would depend on the driver.

i doubt drag radials will break the rear...but slick w/ a 6 speed WILL on the other hand
