so I pull up to the light and a I guess 98, 99 talon pulls up next to me. Asks me if I wanna run, I say sure why not. I have my boy in the car, and the guy in the talon is with his girl. We hit at the light, and from 0-60 we were basically dead even. Then after that I hear his turbo and this bitch takes the hell off, makes me feel like I am in slow motion. I pull to next light and ask him what he has, he said, all bolt ons, and hes pushing 21 lbs of boost. What are your guys estimates of his HP and 1/4 times?

 

If he was pushing 21lb's w/bolt ons and was dead even with your car , His car is a Blown-turd . With that much boost , he should be running 12's at least . He shoulda waxed you .

well that was 0-60...and I could be mistaken on the 0-60, it could be like 45 of 50, wasnt really looking at my speedometer, that was just my estimate. But after that he pulled on me really bad

 

oh , ok , got ya . SOunds bout right . His turbo's spooled out , and he got ya . If he is pushing that much boost , his car is pretty fast. Im not sure bout the hp though . Im not a DSM specialist ..

 

I ran a guy in a Eclipse turbo, I killed him off the line but at the end of 2nd he shot past me like a rocket. It was a built motor and running 19 psi on the street and 26psi at the track and ran high 11's ( I saw the slips). That car was a perfect sleeper too.

Ended up that he was one of those people that really knows his shiat about cars and he decided to build a eclipse turbo for as just a toy but owns a Z06 Vette and 02' SS but he could of been pulling my chain too.

 

I am guessing it wasn't an all wheel drive if you stayed with him until 50 or so. But yea if he has all bolt ons, which you never what that could be it is a very vague statement, and he is running what was it, 21 psi then he is no joke. I would imagine in the 12's somewhere.
