You sure your brother wasn't thinking he'll be running a 14 flat in the 1/8th?
Here is a story of the ricer I talked about up there ^.
I've got a buddy with a cavalier (hell even I own a cavalier, but that's not the point) and he was in line at the track. This dude with this primered, neon'd, a wing boeing would be envious of, and a exhaust/intake...started talking to my buddy with the cavalier about the cavaliers muffler "Yeah, I almost bought that muffler...but I didn't like it, my muffler gives me some mad hp" After I quit laughing. I asked him what all he had done to it...he said intake and exhaust. I asked him what he thought it would run...and he said "If it doesn't run a 14 I'm selling it" Without missing a beat, I pulled out $1. and said "If this car runs a 14, I'll give you this dollar...Hell if this car runs a 15 I'll give you this dollar" He then said "Well if it doesn't run a 15 then I'm gonna sell it."
Well we finally get up to the staging lines...(and he's running my buddy's cavalier, which is NOT fast) and 17.4 seconds later the probe finished...my buddy ran a 16.3 (well off his best of a 15.7)
So a little later I went back up to the primerd probe guy and asked him if he was gonna sell his car...he said and I quote "My clutch is messin up. If it was working right I would have run 3 or 4 seconds faster" I just laughed and call him a ricer before I walked off...he didn't like that, but he wasn't even going to get out of his "Mad Tyte Ride y0"
Anyways, just thought I would share my story, and for you to let your brother know I'll give him $1. if he can run a 14 flat with just intake and exhaust.

At the track here in vegas the Matrix's are running high 16's with a good driver. I have seen some in the 17's with a avg to bad driver. You will kill him.. Race him once just to shut him up.
