Whew!
Glad you cleared that up and set us Ford boys straight. You know I actually thought this was mustanggt.com until you pointed it out. The fact that most of us Ford guys actually own or owned F bods is irrelevant and we dont need to be here because you say so.
Funny thing is that I probably know more about your F bod then you do.

From a stop in the 1/4 you may have stayed within viewing distance but from a 5 to 10mph roll I doubt he was trying if you were close. Go look at his acceleration at 5 to 10mph and compare it to what a stock mustang runs. Then realistically think about how diffrent you are from stock.

I just report what happened. I didn't interview him to see how much gas he gave it.

HA.. i agree with thelastz28
But steve.. even though those cars weigh in at 5 or 6k lbs., they are FAST. Those maybachs, bentleys, etc.. all come with over 550 hp, and near 500 torque. So I would say you didn't do too bad with your car You had the all those things you listed, on your car when you ran him?

I had all mods listed except the weight reduction, DRs and cat back. I didn't pull on the Bentley. He was probably pulling slightly or I was staying with him. It was hard to tell because he was about 10 cars ahead by the time I stopped the majority of his pull. I don't know if he had it pegged, either.

Re: Stang GT vs. ???

Well i would say you hung quite nicely, seeing he had 550hp. How much power/torque are you pushing?

OMG! stop the insanity, buddy you have a high to MAYBE mid 13 second car that can barely crack 100 mph...He would have pulled a little more then slighty on you, and you sure as hell wouldnt be staying w/ him. I see you moved on from beating LS1's to supercars. Damn I bet if you had the weight reduction and those dr's he would have been yours

Re: Stang GT vs. ???

They aren't good 1/4 mile cars. High 12s-Mid 13s from what I've read. But they keep pulling hella hard up to about 195

Danno02SS wrote above in this thread, "As someone else mentioned they are (fast) fat pigs. MT has the '05 going 0-60mph 4.5 sec with the 1/4 coming in at 12.9@109.7mph. Car and Driver has the '04 going 0-60mph in 4.9sec and the 1/4 in 13.4 (summary didn't list the mph)."

That is why I did okay against it. It was probably an '04 or older. I only have a few more horses and torque than stock.
