I tore up an SS on the highway the other night coming home from work. I was just cruising along and here he comes right beside me and we went from a 45 mph punch and i absolutely killed him. I also beat an 05' Mustang GT about a week ago.

You do realise that an SS is like exactly the same as a Z28 as far as how fast they are right? You have mods he coul dhave been stock. The SS's just look better

The ss do have 20 more hp with the ram air but yeh beating an ss isnt that big especially if your modded

 

Not really tony...it's like 5 wheel power more which is basically nothing.

 

SS doesn't put down anymore power on a dyno than a Z28. The only SS that will is an SLP optioned SS with lid/exhaust. They will typically dyno ~ 10 rwhp higher.

SS package is basically a handling/appearance package. I think most SS guys buy their cars because they look better than Z28s.

 

SS is not faster, just looks a bit more bad ***!!!!!!!!
