SS vs. Modded Fox body ( LONG )

Ok so my buddy shows up at my house cuz he said he wanted me to check out his car he just bought. I go outside and there is a 90 GT convert. in my driveway. This particular guy likes to have the best everything so I knew he'd want to race. He had just drove it from cali. cuz he bought it on ebay for I think 4700 dollars. So I finally get the list of mods from him and it goes like this...

headers and full flowmaster ex.
3.55 gears
cai
cobra intake manifold
e-303 cam
short throw shifter ( 5 spd )

I was worried about the outcome but when he told me about the cam I thought I'll take him from a dig cuz of the DRs and his crappy street tires and I figured he would reel me in.
So we raced 3 times and each time I indeed did hole shot him but even when he got traction I just kept pulling I shut down at about 85 or so each time with me ahead about 5 cars I could tell my buddy was not pleased at his new ride going down with hardly a good showing. I was so proud of my car especially when later on I found out later on that ALL my other friends knew for weeks he was getting the car and said not to tell me so I would'nt " do anything to his car before we raced "
So he basically tried to ambush me and kill my car but it all blew up in his face. LMAO
After we raced he said now he was going to get AFR heads and a differrent cam and that his goal for the car was to kill Vipers from a roll. To make a long story longer... it really made my summer to beat him like that, BTW this was last summer before my converter when I was running 13.8s...

I know quite a few convertible cars running 11s, 10's and one that's so close to breaking into the 9's he can taste it.
