Was cruising at +/- 45 mph in the slow lane when a motorcycle (turned out to be a Honda 954 ... was what he said anyway) makes the usuall type of "move" on me.

He pulls up really hard on to my back bumper, fills the mirror with the bright head light, hangs there for a second, then he does the quick lane change and blips up right on my door.

You just know he's fixin to humiliate another muscle car ...

I gave it about 1/2 throttle just to make some noise ... saw his wrist go down ... that's all it took ... punched it, hit 2nd gear just about perfect, he stayed on my door untill the top of 3rd but then started to fade ....

Got to the next lights, the look on his face ... Priceless?? He wanted to know what the %$@# I had in that thing?? I coughed up the truth ... a blown 383 ... we exchanged and went our separate ways ... was cool.

I'd never take a bike on from a standing start, but from a roll, it's a whole different story ... just thought I'd share.
