so let's talk about the Subaru Forester 2.5 XT that handed me my ***

I was driving down a two lane road, had gotten on it in the WS6 because some a hole in a civic was riding my ***. I look up in the mirror and see a black small suv on my ***. The road goes down into a curve...I am in second gear and this jack master hits it behind me and starts to go around. I laugh to myself and punch it thinking it was a rav 4 or something. No, it ripped by me, I mean ripped by me. I couldn't catch him and he didn't leave me either. WTF? I may have had a shot if I had dropped it into first. I think he knew he could make me look bad. It was definately modified, had modified exhaust etc I am sure he had the turbo up on it too, with a little research it is basically a WRX motor with an ugly body around it.

Wow...Made me sick. But got to give that a hole kudos.

More importantly, it's an STI motor under the hood. The 2.5 liter is worlds more potent than the 2.0 used in the "regular" WRX up until the 2006 model year. In stock form they feel pretty similar but the 2.5 makes much better use of any added mods.

Most model years of the Forester are also geard really low, meaning under 60 they're that much more potent. Of course aerodynamics take over up top but it can still be a surprising ride. They're built on the Impreza platform, and that means there isn't enough interior room for my liking. They're good as all-around utility vehicles though, and they have the same or better ground clearance than many "traditional" 4x4 vehicles.

This review sums it up pretty well. They mention its "Popemobile proportions", cramped interior, as well as its 5.3 second 0-60 and 13.8 1/4 mile. My car picked up almost a full second with $500 in exhaust mods and some tuning so I'd assume the Forester responds in a similar fashion.

I figured it was highly modified by how he took off and the sounds it made. I will be more careful *cough* to watch for those in the future.
