Cool Shut down an 06 Datona

I expected more and was disappointed.

I was sitting at the intersection waiting for the light to change when this Daytona pulls up in the right lane. I have seen it around town a few times; it’s a nice looking car. As I’m looking at the car, I notice the guy is smiling and he starts throwing revs. I nodded in reply and when the light turned green, he hit the gas. I eased out the clutch to get going, and then I punched it. (I cannot punch it from a start because my tires roast through 1, 2 and 3). By the time we crossed the intersection I had caught him and by 80 I had 2 -3 cars on him. I expected the Daytona to perform much better than this; maybe he doesn’t know how to drive it. I was supposed to race my friends SRT-8 Charger but a 02 TA kicked his A$$ the other day and now he is afraid I will do the same.
