Today I was driving around a town nerbey where I live and I see a blue eagle talon with 3 foot wind, yellow mirrows, and of course the fart can. Anyway I hate ricers I hope they all die. j/k bout the last part but they really do suck. Well I quickly get behind him and start following him because I heard this guys talon can apparently do 180 which I think is the biggest load of b/s I ever heard. I talked to his brother and he apparently got a motor from canada that can hold 2000 hp and a bunch of other crap which makes me believe even more that ricers don't know anything about cars what so ever. Well as I'm following him he's revving his fart can and I showing him what real exhaust sounds like and we stop at a light and he was revving so I thought he was going to punch it when the light turned green. He doesnt and I was ready to take him but he never punched it so later down the road he punches it well i downshift to catch up and smoke him but he slows down right away. I was like wtf and he continued to do that I dont know if he thought he beat me or not but it really pissed me off.

DSM is diamond star motors...pre 99 eclipse & talons turbo engine maker. A lid is nothing more then an air intake for the LS1 engine...The big "most of the time" black could be clear rectangular plastic piece @ the front of the engine

 

A tsi isn't a joke if the guy isn't a tool. I went up against on at the track and it didn't look nice at all, not even really riced just a huge muffler. I figured he isn't going out of the 14s...guy ran an 11.7 and smoked me pretty bad. Just because they look stupid doesn't mean they are slow, the TSI was turbo and AWD.

 

I had a nice encounter with a 1st gen talon when I had intake and flowmaster muffler added to my 94 LT1 vert A4 w/ 2.73's (slowest combination around) Nonetheless, from a stop, we stayed even until about 100 and then he pulled a couple of inches on me. Very exciting race. I found him on a local messageboard a couple of months later, and eventually ran into him at the track. Cool guy, we both complimented each others cars.

 

Last time to the track there was an AWD DSM running high 12's at 108. I was behind him during check in, and he was running PIG rich, but obviously his car ran well.
