ran an 03' Bullet

First let me say, long time reader, first time poster here. Great site, I've learned so much from this place it's awesome. And If anyone in the ATL area wants to meet up sometime, I am totally down. Theres nothin better than meetin other cool F-Bod owners. Now to the story.

Well as the title would indicate, i ran an 03 Bullet stang tonite. Had some get up to it. I was cruisin, just lookin for a reason to mash the gas, and I see this stang up ahead, and see the really shiny tips out the back, so i figure its just another GT, then see the bullet on the side. The guys plate also said "44 MGM". Very clever. I liked it. Car was solid black, with nice phat 18''s and looked to be about 285's on the rear. Very sweet ride.

I pull up beside him and roll down the window, the passenger says " Man that thing sounds wicked!" (gotta love the BONE STOCK 305 with the cutout) I tell him thats a sweet stang, lets get these on the highway and play. He follows.

We get some clear space, no one honks just kinda go, well he goes first, and pulls 3 cars in about 7-8 seconds, then I hold it there, we run way up past 85 (damn speedo) then shut it down. We did this 3 times, every time hed pull 3 cars then no one would gain on each other. We both take the next exit, and give the thumbs up. Good run. Cool car.

What's the deal with these Bullit cars? Anything special? I was proud of the Maro for hangin with him, and the compliment was cool too. Not bad for a completely stock 305 down to the filter, well except exhaust. Hope you enjoyed.

No such car as an '03 Bullitt.

You either raced a '01 Bullitt or an '03 GT with no spoiler and a Bullitt fuel door.

Like Spinner said, just a GT with a different intake and fancy trim, but they're nice cars though.

Kind of like a SS or WS6 compared to their respective Z28 and Trans Am.

Best thing about them is the intake. That means 40-50hp gain over a regular GT when going the blown route.
