Was just headed out to the store to pick up something to drink. Didnt think id encounter something like this. As i merged onto the road..it smelt of sweet sweet race fuel..mmmmm Something every car nut loves. Couldent see what it was at first but ended up being an older notch mustang..beautiful. Car looked like it was just painted..and sounded pretty nice. I admired..and figured id just cruise right past. Guy gave alittle throttle as i passed..so i did the same. After that the race was on. I actually was alittle nervous because of the way the car looked and the smell of racing fuel. We went from a 35ish roll to which i pulled pretty good up to 3rd gear when we stopped. Guy pulled up next to me and wanted to go from a slower roll....i noticed alot of traffic up in front so it wasnt really a smart move. We waited for traffic to clear and went from a 15mph roll. Same results..i pulled pretty hard on um after 1st gear. I slowed to give my props and nice race..and we got to talk. We ended up pulling over in a parking lot to which i found out he was pushing 10lbs with bolt ons..and very minor suspension work. We talked it up alittle bit and headed our seperate ways. Beautiful looking car..and nice guy. Was a good run.
