Nitrous Kill

Just thought i would share my most recent nitrous kill wiyth everyone. I put a Nitrous Works plate kit on the car (bone stock). I sprayed it (175 shot) and made several successful runs. I get my third bottle filled and was street racing a buddy of mine. At about 4800 rpm in low gear it backfired through the intake distroying the tb, air intake aand maf. All of this due to #3 injector not working. Man what a dissapointmen. I knew i was wanting to build another engine for some reason. When i tore it down i pulled #3 piston out in about 5 pieces. Now i'm going to build something, just can't decide what. Any other experiences like this one?

Re: Nitrous Kill

That sucks man....

Stroke the engine, port and flow the heads...then ad a turbo or centri charger to the mix !! plenty of power there ! ....prolly more than double what you experienced with that spray.

bad kill LOL

I do agree that forced induction is the way to go. I just helped a friend build a 89 rs camaro with a 406 and a f1 procharger. The sob will make your chest hurt!!!

Re: Nitrous Kill

I sprayed a 175 shot when my 97 ss was stock for almost 2 years and she ran fine. I wanted to build a new motor so I ran a few 250 passes

yeah that fuel will KILL a motor

No i dodn't have a fpss. Looks like a failed injector was the problem.
