Oh how I'd LOVE to have some cooler weather... but we're at least a month out for that... so I took the Nano to 75... but in so doing, I installed an oversized fuel jet by accident...(had the jet that came with the pre-loved kit stored in the fuel hit for the 75 shot installed the wrong one) and she was running major rich. Fixed that on Saturday and she's hitting like a bomb.

Should see some improvement on Friday night, weather permitting.

4 more mph in the 1/8 is a ****load. You must have sprayed it out of the hole and busted *** down the track.

Well yeah, its actually closer to 3mph... but you're right... we're spraying from the dig... and I'm likely to add a 2nd stage in the near future; busting another 75 shot for the post shift to 2nd, when we rebuild the top end. With the new heads and intake, that should put us in well into the 6s @ close to 100 mph... and at that point we're going to have to decide where we want to take the car.

I honestly never thought I'd ever see this kind performance out of her... it seems like just the other day that I was sitting in the lanes watching the guys cutting 8.5s wondering what it must feel like.

But now we're going to have to add a roll-cage and all that crap and frankly, I just never wanted to go there.

I like the ratty old beater thing... Where unbeknownst to who ever pulls up to the light, that there's a 99% chance that I already own 'em...

LOL... I suppose its the whole thing of watching the euro-players and the turbo'd ricers edge out that little pre-run smirk... just before they get SMOKED... and watching them FLY BY ME... a few seconds after it's over.

Sadly... around here anyway... that's mostly played out. Those that go to the track, already know better... and based upon the near total absence of anyone else being willing to tee-it up... I'm beginning to get the impression that 'the words' got around.

BUT! The season is returning in about a month and hopefully we'll get a new batch of would-be players in the mix of seasonal geriactrics and tourists.

Great job. Nice times for a cam/nitrous LT1. 6s are harder than you think

My buddy had a heads/cam/nitrous LT1 that was full weight + 260 lbs driver. The car went 7.0s @ 99 (11.03 @ 125.5) shooting a 150-shot out of the car spinning a little on a 1.61 60' on 3.42s -- it went 12.teens @ 113-114 on motor.

260 lbs? Man that's a lot of buddy right there... Stuff one of these 170 lb kids in that beast and he's high 6s...

But yeah man... you're right, it's exponential... FTR, she runs 7.7s NA... and that's high 11s -low 12s in the 1/4.
