Thumbs up New best tonight

Made 4 passes last night. Started out the night with poor 2.2 sixty and my goal was to get that down but ended up running out of time and track closed.

3rd run I was up against beautiful HCI Z06.

He ran 12.9 I believe around 119 and I ran 11.369@127.85 ... I heard a few folks in the stages lines commenting about how I was "gonna get waxed by this Z06"...

My best last night was 11.2@126.72

Gotta work on my suspension and getting it dialed in. Managed to shave off quite a bit just by altering the shocks, tire pressure, and the way I was launching this terd. Still all launches off footbrake. Hopefully I can do a transbrake launch soon

Antz there ya go almost 10's in full interior, full weight, drag radial 2V street car.

Cheers,
Tim

Thanks! Hopefully once I get the footbrake thing down, I'll get to try the transbrake thing. Who knows, maybe mid 10's is possible? One only knows but I'll keep on pluggin away.

Cheers,
Tim

Nice runs, Tim.
Glad to see your hard work in that thing is finally paying off.

Doing well.
All three cars are running, but I found the Buick pushed out a headgasket over the #4 last week. That's why I ran the Cobra on Friday.
The GT is now running, I just need to sort out some details. Video.
Sorry you won't be there...any of the local guys running (Mike, Tyler, etc.)?

Glad to hear that all is going well. Not sure on any of the other guys running or not. Have you been by the site? You know that Tealnet is now Quickstreetcars.com right? I figured it was a named more suited. :-) Stop by and say hi to everyone.

Here is a quick linky for ya

By the way, the 95 sounds nasty!!! My car is so quiet it's almost scary hahahaha. It idles better then it did when it was stock quiet.

Yeah...I saw that it moved.
Since that's mostly Md/Va people, I don't post or visit much.
Like I said, I hope to see some of the Md. guys at Cecil next week.

Thank you kind sir!

Snorman,
It's all good dude. If you decide that you want to visit here sometime in the future, come on down. I always have room if you want to spend a weekend or whatever. If it's summertime, we'll go out fishing in my new boat! I'm starting to like the boating a lot more now too hahaha. Must be age? LOL

Not shabby Tim. Bring that thing up to Hagersbush and I can hook you up with a few people that know how to make mustangs hook. One runs 10.5's on 10" ET's and the other runs 8's and is a national record holder in NMRA.

Snorman,
WAZZZUUPPP!!!

Mark,
I'll have to come up there soon. Not to sound like a jerk but I don't need that kind of help just yet, although I very much appreciate it. My issue is that:

1) I lack seat time
2) I have to try a few more things on the foot brake.
3) Need to get the suspension dialed in along with tire pressure and rear shocks.

Remember this combination is kind of new to me. At least at the track. Cut me a little slack here because I knocked 5 tenths off my times just in one night so whatever I'm doing seems to be headed in the right direction. I think it relates back to #1.

Regards,
Tim

You've been saying that for about 2 yrs now. Heck even my attempts at luring you up for a visit isn't working.

And no I won't cut you any slack. I never did before and I start won't now. As a matter of fact my poor little T/A cuts better than 2.2 60's.

Seriosly though. Keep getting that 60 down and you'll be in the 10's no problem. Your mph says that you're a high 10 car easy.

Mark,
127+mph is plenty for low-mid 10's. See where I'm headed? BTW, you know the wife and I are adopting a child and I've been promoted? Been VERY busy.............

Re: New best tonight

Bill Perkin's (the one with the 10 sec stang) pulls about the same MPH and 1.4 60's. He usually runs somewhere between 10.7 and 10.5 's. Of course, he can do it on MOTOR with 310ci.
Ok fine I'll give you mid 10's. (crybaby)

BTW, you know the wife and I are adopting a child and I've been promoted?
Congrats on the new addition. Let me know when everything is final. Promoted? Yeah I know your a grandpa now. Gettin old there Timmay, Gettin old.... hehe
See where I'm headed?
Yep, right to the nearest nursing home.
