i was on my way home from my girlfriends house at like 12 AM or so and im cruzin at 75 in 6th gear on highway 4 and a truck came up on me hella quick lined up to me and floored it a few times to show me whats up so i droped my car back into 3rd and off i went he stayed with me up to 100 and i started to pull away, all i know is by 147 or so he was a few cars back, very fast truck. good race. he woudlnt slow down after to try agin or give me a thumbs up he just kept going and i had to exit so i did, shortly after i exit i see a 5.0 chasing after him, good luck 5.0

 

We need to go from a dig. The freeway is where i lose. Didnt you say you raced a svtL in a mach1?

 

Good race, he should no better than to be messing with LS1 SS's up top unless he has some good mods...even then.

A dig..a bad thing to do against a Lightning.

Lightnings are not as slow as people think up top....

I have only lost one h-way race in my Lightning...raced LT1, LS1, lotsa import, even a NSX...all good running cars.

 

yea i raced a lighting in a mach 1 down the street from a roll all i know is somewhere in 2nd gear i was ahead by almost a car maybe alittle more. that was the day i decided mach 1's are fast. that lighting i raced the other night had to of been moded i dont think they move that fast on the freeway like that stock. But i love the lighting truck i was thinkign about buying a 02 black lighting for 20k. cool truck!

 

Dude you were never gonna geta lighting, especially at that price. How did you reply from work?
