my lt1 teaches respect to rice

i was driving home from an inventory night at officemax where i work, and as i was approaching my lt1 i see a gathering of about 7 small imports with lawnmower souding exhaust, i just ignored them and proceded to i-55 heading to aurora, il where i live, well as i was getting on the highway i see a bunch of super bright and blue lights behind me and tailgating me! how rude i said, well i let them pass me because in chicago gas is at 3.69 for premium where i pump so why waste gas on this kids/?? all of the suddem they all come to a almost stop and one of them almost ends up in my front bumper i got so upset, so i shifted to 2nd and floor it, i pass all of them ahead of me and they were following behind at about 4 car lenght till i was a 130 and i stop seeing them in my mirror. the only bad thing is that i wasted some premium fuel but those bastards got their lesson. i do understand that there are some fast ricers out there, but where i work in chicago all these kids put some cheap exhaust and some stickers with blue xenon bulb and think they have a 11 sec car.

I think we've all had similar experiences.

Yes we have...but whats even more fun is doing it in my wife's stock neon with her driving...funny how every honda with a fart can and wing wants to race a neon, not that the neon is fast but she out drives em all.
