i dont know why all my posting are about mustangs and i am even stayin up late to write this but i can't help it.. lol.

Anyways.. it was about 10:40pm just got out of drill (national gaurd) for the night and i pull into a gas station and while i am filling up there is a pack of the local cars in the parking lot next to me. I seen them all lookin over so i finish fillin up and cruise on over. I have to get up early so i just kind of check out whats sittin there and rev'd up a little. Then 3 guys that were standing outside this mustang all jump in and speed up real quick and follow me out of the lot. This thing is bright yellow with black stripes and LOADED with blue neons, lol. So we pull up to the stop light and i was like soooo how much horsepower are those neons adding? They rev'd up and it sounded completely stock... I was like is it stock? and they were laughing and the guy had a huge smile and just shook his head real slow. I was like what is this retard doing... I said okayyy... lets jump on the express way so we can see what all you got done. so we pull on the freeway and i let him pull up next to me (about a 35mph roll right in my sweet spot) we both had our windows down and i was like hey just go, i'll let you have a jump on me. So i waited for them to take off and and they get about a half a car on me and i hit it. It seemed like by the time my car down shifted i was already blowin past them and i hit 3rd and my stall kicked in and kept me at 4k RPM's and by the time i hit 6800RPM's i never have seen headlights fade away like that. I thought i was going to have to pull off the road for them to catch up. lol okay i need sleep. maybe someone out there like me might of got a laugh reading this. It seemed like everyone tonight was racing me. I took off my z06 rims and put stock salad shooters on and everyone thinks they are runnin a stock car. Its hilarious. I might take off my z28 badges hehe. Make it look like a V6, that would be fun
oh it wasnt the 05 stang it was a 00+ or something... dunno i lost track of them.

 

LOL. thats funny. yea i am up late to but i am going to bed now. i thought it was a joke but some ppl just believe that things like neons make their car go fast. seriously, i have seen honda guys post about it and they meant it. WOW, i wonder what they tell their friends when all they see is tailights from a t/a or camaro!

But someone has to teach these kind of people about mod's... I was trying to help him. I bet his next mod isnt going to be neons... he might go buy some headers now or something.... maybe even sell his stang to buy a camaro

As far as the kill, good job. Just one thing, though. It's pretty lame of you to ask how much horsepower the neons are adding. They put them on the car because they liked the look, not because they think they add horsepower. I sure hope that you have never done any appearance mods to your car.

A story like that brings a smile to my face........I was out cruising last night and on my way home I met up with a yellow GT.....could've been anywhere from a '94-'98....it had euro taillights and it looked like some other exterior mods (read: ricer crap) so I got up next to him and sped up a little, and he got ahead of me because of traffic in my lane so I finally got back to him and floored it and completely left him....the wuss didn't wanna go seriously for some reason probably because he knew he'd get smoked. I love doing that to Mustangs.

 

Hey just to let you know last night I raced a STOCK C6 from a 60 roll and left him behind at about 75.. lol, so its not just Mustangs!
