M10 banter, because I'm bored and don't feel like working...
Round one eliminations in the slow (12.50+) bracket class, I took a stock C5 handily, 13.3 to his 13.8 (I dialed a 13.21, he dialed a 13.69). I must have really wanted it, because I managed a 0.046 reaction time! Anyway, he bested my 60' (better tires), but I pulled past before 330' and continued to gain all the way through.
There was a stock C6 there (poorly driven, IMO) that managed a 13.00, and maybe something better when I wasn't looking. I know they can run in the 12-second range, but this guy was doing burnouts on street tires, bogging launches, and missing shifts, so pulling a 13 flat was pretty good for him. So anyway, I'm still an easy kill for a C6, but I'll get there!
In round two of the eliminations, I improved my reaction time by a tenth... putting me at -0.06. Would have won that race too!
