haha ur funny, dude i stock 1995 z28 runs like 14.1.ok and stock srt runs about the same or better.he has about $8,000 in his car and runs 12,70 and could be faster if did not spin down half the track .i have a whole $300 and its nothing to make a gain..
I had a 95 Z28 with just an exhaust and I ran a 13.78....I've beaten 3 SRT-4's...what's your excuse dude
Every car that loses a race "could add xxx and win" next time. If you're stock, it's "if I only had intake & exhaust." The faster guys start thinking "maybe I should have gone with that bigger cam" - or 150 shot instead of a 100, etc. It's a never ending process. In the end, it doesn't do anything to fix the intial loss.
I'm sure the 98ish Cobra (at least exhaust mods) that ran me last week from a 10 roll is wondering how the "Camry with a hood scoop" stayed door to door with him up to 70. If I'd known he was interested, I'd have launched properly and he'd have beenr watching my bumper the whole run. He probably started planning his next mods right after that little event. I know I have a round of major upgrades coming in the fall

Click on the link to Johns Subaru in his sig. Im almost positive that he is referencing to that. Alot of ignorant people probably mistake it for a camry...
Once they make that mistake, soon after they are enlightened.

Yeah - I mean the Subaru. It looks a lot like a Camry from the back. I removed the word Subaru from the back so all it has is the logo and "Legacy 2.5GT". Lots of people are quick to step up and show me that a 2.5 liter shouldn't be called GT. Luckily it doesn't say turbo anywhere on the car.
With just up and down pipes (from manifolds to turbo, and from turbo to cat-back section) and the DIY tune it feels like about 105 mph traps. That's about all I'm going to get out of the tiny stock turbo but it'll soon see a more fitting hairdryer and front mount intercooler that'll liven it up nicely.
My goal is to get it to 117-120 mph traps with a basically stock appearance. That ought to leave plenty of people wondering

They are getting kinda overrated. Everyone RAVES about them. If they were rear wheel drive, or AWD, id say its worth it. But what good is a fast car that you can barely ever get to hook up? Everyone that owns one, refuses to race from a dig. I dont know about you but id rather have a RWD car thats a little slower and day of the week than a SRT4. Now if you start comparing it to rice, yea its awesome, and id rather have it than 99% of the ricemobiles out there.
