Me vs. 1978 Trans Am

At this stop light, this Trans Am pulls up next to me, we don't look at eachother, but I glance and see HO 6.6 on his hood... but ya know, its there.. no revving or anything.. light turns green, we both pull forward, then same time we hit it, i lost traction in first and when i shifted into second, but when i got traction i just pulled away from him until we were going about 50, which wasn't very much time, then i hit the brakes.. this was in a 30mph.. school zone too.. um.. no kids around though, lol. At the next light we gave eachother thumbs up and talked until my light turned green. it was a 4-speed, and in pretty good condition. w00t, first *real* race with this thing.. the 11 second mustang i raced doesnt count..
