Why not just put your mods in your sig?

How old are you? Name calling is for people in grade school remember? The moderators have a 5 line max sig. rule. Trim it to 5 lines with the most important engine and suspension mods only.

Let me give you an example:

1998 Honda Civic
B18B engine and tranny swap, Quaife LSD, clutch, flywheel, Garrett T3/T04E turbo, intercooler, full exhaust, fuel upgrades, suspension upgrades, slicks.
Best run 11.95 at 118

Is it just me or do import people whine and get defensive real fast ?????? Sheesh, if you are gonna tell everyone what your doing ( vids, slips) of course they are gonna want some type of proof. You having a honda just makes it worse. i furnished testimonials by active posters on this board who've seen my car in person, posted a vid of a 12.1 @ 118 run, and posted slips before...steve Y still doesnt believe me and calls me a troll...who's rude?

 

You guys really can't blame him for getting mad when people call bs on him after he posts videos and slips. He's put alot of time and money into his car (as most of us here have) and I'm sure he doesn't like it when people talk **** about it.

This is why people call you troll in here (not just me, others have called you troll as well). You come in here cocky, and list a bunch of highly respected fast cars that you beat down, then you say you drive a Honda Civic with a smiley after it. This is your first post in the kills section. It takes 15 pages to get a mod list out of you. We still don't get a mod list in your sig. You joke about what mods you have. You call people names. You are a shady weasel. Why not be upfront about what you have? Oh yeah, people will rip off your car even though we have no idea where you live. We don't dis all import owners. We have nothing against import owners that are cool. We even give F-body owners in here a hard time that are morons.

 

Steve is right. I won't lie to you though, there will always be people on here that hate imports, and if you want to be on this board you will have to deal with that. But me, and many others on here like anything that is fast and that has an owner that isn't cocky and here to stir up ****. When you won't list mods, even go so far as to say we wouldn't understand what they were anyway, then I'd say you are just here to stir up ****. No one is here to steal your friggin civic, trust me. You can put your mod list, and leave your location out of your profile. No one will know where you are. Guess what, if I come on here and say that I just beat a viper from a roll on, and my sig says "I have a fourthgen camaro" then people are going to ask me what I have done. And "well crap guys, I'd hate for someone to steal my car, or to confuse you with my mods" is really not a valid excuse. Hell you probably run a higher risk of someone stealing your car if they see you in person getting on it in town or something- or is it "mAd low KeY, DawG!!!" Can't go above 2000 RPM or someone might think you have aftermarket parts, and jack your ****!!

I agree with FastZinTennessee. I don't doubt that your car is fast, or that you don't have the mods you say you do(even though i don't know what they really are). I highly doubt somebody is gonna still your car off of here without knowing where you live. I also know how you feel about the theft issue. My sister has had 2 civics stolen off her. One was fully modded apearence wise(no crazy body kit just a SI kit). The other completly stock. I seen how bad she was hurt by it so i understand. But if you don't post you location nobody besides the people that already know where you live is gonna jack your car. I know you shouldn't have to post your mods. But it does help sort out the confusion on how you beat the car that you say you did. You are right most people won't understand all the componets that you have on you car that makes it perform the way it does. But most people will understand big mods. If they don't or if they do and still don't believe you. Well F*** um. BTW nice kill.

i said that my car was turbo. not trying to be condescending here, but its pretty obvious then "how" i could've have beaten all those cars?

the motor is internally bone stock. so i could've then said, i just have bolt on's to be a real dick, but I didn't...i said it had a turbo.

i mean honestly, what else do u need to know? i have a log style manifold? my intercooler core measurements are 20x8.5x3 inches? my injectors are obd1 style saturated? my intercooler piping is 2.25" ? i use 10-40 motor oil?

with out the turbo, all the other **** will still make my car slow. sorry i didn't say "i have a turbo, and supporting mods"

as far as the theft issue, until u've had a car jacked from u, u'll never understand. posting on web boards is probalby why my other car got jacked in the first place. hate all you want, you're not the one out of a car after all is said and done and the car has been stolen.


besides, steve continued to call bs on me in this thread....AFTER i posted videos of me walking away from an evo (low 14's, high 13's) with THREE PEOPLE in my car.

Saying you have a turbo on a civc is lame. 150 hp + 70hp from a turbo is still a maybe low 14 second car. as for pulling on an evo.. my friend just got an evo and took it to the track, and he cant drive for crap. he got a best of a 15.5 @ 85 mph. maybe you raced him. and if i said i have a 3200 pound car with AWD and a 2.7l bi-turbo (and i wish i did) you would think it would run low 12's or somthing based on your logic. but it wouldnt because i just described a stock audi S4 that will get maybe a mid to low 14.

i hate people that just want to start sh%t.

BTW you still drive a Civic.

 

It'sd kind of obnoxious that ppl start crap in here. Can't we just say "good kill" and leave it at that? Unless you were there I see no reason for you to scream BS. Also, does it hurt you if some guy is claiming his stock CRX is running circles around an LS1? No it doesn't, it only hurts him. So just deal with it or grow up.
