Mason Dixon Dragway I beat an '09 GT

I was at the track last year in my 100% stock auto. '03 Mach 1 and lined up with an '09 Mustang GT automatic with a custom tune and CAI.

I thought it would be close. We had the same reaction time. I was able to consistantly pull away through the whole 1/4. At the end I had run a 13.8 @ 101.29 and he ran a 14.1 at ??. It was 91* and very humid. But we all were slower than normal.

I'm just surprised a 6 year newer car with minor mods was not able to take me. I also beat many other manual '05 and up GT's.

My IROC is going to the track this year. It's running very strong now. Most bugs are out of it. I'll try to kill some Stangs in it and post up timed results. Til then

seems right,

around here a stock 05-09 gt will do a 14-14.4
my friends slightly modded (bolt on 05 gt) did a 13.8

although my friend with an 03 gt with 16k miles only does a 14.6
and my 16 year old lt1 with 140k miles does a 13.5 almost stock

How is this possible? Did he miss a shift? My 07 GT did a 13.69 stock, and 13.43 with a tune and JLT CAI, spinning through 2nd gear.

Good kill though...win light is a win light!

13.3 @ 106 in my stock Bullitt... I stomp on pre-04 gt's pretty bad... I know because my buddy has one that he swore was faster! lol At the same time my basically stock auto 97 Z28 ran 13.6... I'm proud of both of them. I need to do a tune up to my 95 and get it out to the track. It has a 3k stall but I think it's slower than my other cars.

I am really disappointed in the 09 and up Mustangs. I have seen some pissass slow ones. Even the MPHs were low. Only thing I can think of is that they are very heavy!!

Iroc post a picture of that Iroc!!!
