So I'm cruising with my buddy after I completed my t56 swap. I see a black ls1 ws6 with a triple gauge pod on the a-pillar in the left lane behind me. It's a double left turn lane and we stay beside each other during the turn, then wait a sec after we get straight and both hammer it.

I'm in 2nd and as soon as we both get on it I start pulling, but had to let off due to the car infront of me. I get next to him at the next light and ask what he has done to his car, and he COMPLETELY IGNORES me. Not even a glance over. Guess he was mad his almighty ls1 got beaten by a lowly lt1

 

Can't happen. It must have been an L98. LS1s are unbeatable. Haven't you heard?

A heads + cam + full bolt ons 383 LT1 should smoke an LS1. Duh.

 

who cares...the ls1 got beaten anyways. matters not what anyone had done. what matters when you go racing is who wins. nuff said.

Who cares? The LS1 lost. What if the LS1 had a cam and the LT1 had a No2 kit?

It's pretty funny when a guy like the OP with a car like he has even posting a kill like that. That would be like me posting up every time that I beat a Tauras at the track with the race car.
OP post up a kill where the cars are pretty even and you won with driving skill or maybe even got killed yourself.
As to the guy in the LS1 car, what a sore loser. Heck someone brings enough to beat me I give them a thumbs up.

IMO, if the LS1 was close to stock, then he is gay for having a triple gauge pod. If I see someone with a triple gauge pod, then I would think he has some work done because he obviously wants to monitor some stuff.

 

You might think so but I've seen many stock cars with gauge pods especially 99 and up f-bodies because GM desensitized the coolant temp gauge. To get an accurate reading you need aftermarket gauges.
And then there's the group of younger folks that install them because they make the car look cool.

 

You are basically making up excusing as to why this happened and you were not even there.....

The only cars I have seen guage pods on for no reason is Civic's, Acura's, ricer cars....

 

Who really cares??? I'd stick to posting races at the track or those that start on three honks. You know the kind where both parties know what's going on. No excuses but this was lame from the get go.

Do the Mustang guys post like this between Cobra's, Mach's and GT's???
