So me and a friend of mine, who has a 2002 Z28 have been wanting to run em' for a while now and finally last fri. night we did. So the first race we went from like a 35 roll, i was in second and he was in first, i honked 3 times and we were off, i had him until i made a bad shift and went from 2nd to 5th , i know i know, bad shift! so he flew past me, cuz i was like screw it, no point in downshifting to try to catch up.....so im like ok you got me, lets go one more time. So this time we go from a 20 roll, im in 1st and so is he. i honk 3 times and were both off...i spin through 1st and 2nd(im in need of new tires badly) but as soon as i shift into 3rd, i take off...and up to bout 105 he was at my door the whole way...if not fading a little!

Well i finally got to race, i ahve been wanting to run him ever since i got all my exhaust done to see how i compare to and ls1 and i didnt do that bad....oh and by the way my mods. and in the sig. and his are a CAI and cat-back

My car used to do about the same with LS1's. Ive recently been getting a little valve float which has slowed it down. I raced my friend in his sisters 2000 auto Z28 a couple times about a week ago. Started from high 2nd(50 roll), we were dead even until I shifted into 3rd. Then hed jump half a car. After that Id slowly start to inch or stay even until 110-130.
