That its "just" an LT1.

 

He had numbers on the windows so I assume he had raced that night. Maybe he had a turbo or engine swap or something and figured it'd be competitive?

i dont know, he pulled up next to me on a busy street and revved. me and the passenger just laughed at him. but once i got on the highway he followed.
so we both go through the toll booth at the same time. i got out first, so i slowed down to see if he was actually willing. sure enough, he comes up with a rolling start and floors it next to me.

i dunno, maybe he beat or hung with a stock LT1 and thought he could do the same again. oh well, it was amusing.

 

Well, come to think of it, that thing probably trapped like 75 mph from the factory so the fact that he stayed anywhere in the same zip code when you went WOT means he's got something under there...

 

didnt sound turboed or blown, haha. if that thing had a blower i wouldve **** my pants, lol.
anyway, he stayed alot closer then i expected.

i went on one of the local orlando forums, alot of imports and slow cars on there. anyway, i said "luckily i had the bottle open and ready for him". thought that wouldve brought more amusement and made the kid happy. so far noone knows who it is.

I watched it and kept thinking, Wow, and this car still has another 150HP on tap ... What a dumb Ricer.

oh, on the local website. someone knew the car and had actually ran him and knows the guys times. 15.4@92. guess that aint bad for a ole corolla

 

maybe he thought it was a V6 ..... sounds like he's about even with me and my car's practically stock

 

i doubt he though it was a V6, atleast i havent heard a v6 that rumbled like mine.

he probably knew he was going to get spanked, but wanted a race anyway. i race anyone that wants to race. ive raced ricers and killed them, and a viper last year and got killed. i enjoy racing for the fun of it. maybe he just wanted some fun, even though my wifes blazer could of beaten him ?

 

Well the kid clearly has a turbo listen at about 13 seconds, you can hear the sweet sound. Unless thats just slaughter I hear lol
