LS2 Goat, Full bolt on 4.6, LS1 Camaro, and H 20 Civic.

Well I took the Camaro out today for the first time this month and ran into a LS2 goat on the highway, I gunned it and he was on my *** all the way to 120. We get off at the same exit and turn left. At the light he is behind me, I'm behind someone, and a school bus is to our left, so I take off and as soon as there is enough room for me and the goat to safely pass the bus, I take off. He follows and gets back i the left lane, he starts to pull around 80, but then stays even, about a car length back all the way to 110. We slow down and he asks what I've got and I just say "good ole LT1", he looked surprised, I said good run and he took off.

A couple weekends ago I took my 2001 LB7 Duramax out to the local hangout for some kills. So I show up and ask "who wants to race a slow truck" no one answers so I walk up to a couple kids in a silver LS1 Camaro and ask them if they want to race since I haven't raced an LS1 in my truck yet. He asked what I had and I just told him a 9,000 lb truck, he laughs. I say "well no one else is racing so we might as well start it off." So he agrees and we stage. I put it in 4 HI and stall my truck to get the turbo boosted. I launch and easily put 3 cars on him and he doesn't catch up until about 80mph where I have to let off because my stock tranny can't hold 800 ft/lbs of torque. He was surprised to say the least. Then I ask again "who wants to race a slow truck" no one replies so I drive up to a full bolt on 4.6 mustang that is about even with my car, I have raced this guy before and I must say, he has a very strong ford. We stage and the outcome is about the same, but he didn't pull as hard at the end. I also messed around with my buddies LT1 with intake and exhaust with about the same outcome as the Mustang.

Also a few months ago I see this little green Civic weaving in and out of traffic and driving on the shoulder to catch up to me while I was on my home from work and luckily we catch a light. So i put it in 4 Hi and boost up the turbo and launch the **** out of this Civic. My truck actually hops forward and I pull a couple cars on this kid and it stays that way all the way to 100mph. I ran into him a couple night ago and asked him if he remembers a big *** truck whooping the **** out of him a few months back. He says "holy ****, that was you, damn that thing was fast." He says his car weights 2200 lbs and has a H 20 swap. That damn thing is pretty quick in third gear though cause my buddy with a bolt on LT1 stays even with him until about 50mph but once that Civic hits third he just starts pulling.

Funny thing is, my truck was on a pretty mild tune. I cant even turn it up because I start running out of fuel. I cant wait until I build my tranny so I can actually use 4th and 5th gear. 90-135mph goes by pretty damn quick at 35psi.

That Duramax is a stout motor. I was suprized when I drove the company truck.Very respectable stock,I can just imagine cranking the boost up.

Maybe the 2.0 is a K series, I don't know rice. I just know the B16 and B18, don't know much beyond that. Maybe its K20 and H22?

The Duramax is a Hella good motor. My dads 06 LBZ will run with my LT1 Z, and the trucks 100% stock.

Sounds like a good run though.

Way to resurrect this but those trucks run 16s stock so you need a tune-up.
