LS What
all that matters is the man with a lightly modified lt1 beat a ls1. I know alot of people are gonna question it but he did a good job and not all of them are that fast like others have said. that 12.9 1/4 mile time they said for the 02 SS was a factory freak. And people under estimate the lt1's power. from what i heard LT's on a LT1 make it pull much harder in the higher speeds.
So all i gotta say is
Great race man keep it up

I wasn't trying to insult you. If I was it would have said:
Wow, big mods for that ls1. And suspension mods for a roll race. Wow. Ls1 goat? Holy cow, they are barely good for 13s right? Man, you did great.
I merely said what I would have guessed for them. Looks like I got the auto correct. How about the rearend?

Your general assumption that X car is faster than Y car is wrong. Last time I checked people do not line up, whip out dyno sheets and decide who "would have" won....
I have seen plenty of LS1's run 14's at 100 and slower stock....but on the flip side, I have seen some screamers.

I'm not doubting the race in any way. I hate LS1s. But 50 hp is hard to make up on a roll race. No matter how slow the ls1 is.
Auto from most rolls = :PGood kill
I own both an LS1 six speed and LT1 six speed. I say that between my two cars, the LS1 will win everytime in a drag race, everything else being equal. When you start factoring in mods, driver differences and trans differences, anything can happen.
You'd have to be pretty clueless to think anything but LS1>LT1>L98. That's not to say a stock LS1/A4/2.73 car can't lose to a stock LT1/M6/3.42 car. Ofcourse there are variables and naturally once mods come into play, everything goes out the window. Advancement in technology is a great thing. I do find it interesting that GM can still dominate utilizing the pushrod though.
