Killed two Hondas, they thought it was gonna be easy.

I was heading home from shopping and a movie last Sunday night, I decided that I would drive through where all the carbuffs hang out to see what was running around. As I drove through the main thoroughfare there was not a soul to be found except for the occational police car. I had about given up when heading out of town (Oklahoma City) a white Honda hatchback (unsure of model) pulls by me reving and looking at me with a big smile. I had my nephew with me and with the window down (nice 50 degrees outside) he could hear the hatchs passenger say " race him". I just sauntered along at about 35 mph (speed limit) waiting for something to happen, the car sounded very high strung and had a studder sound on decell (blowoff valve) and a slight whine as the RPMs came up. About this time he purges a system and points ahead. I nod and he nails it he jumps about a car right off and I nail it and quickly get the car back and procede to put about 5 on him by 100, where i shut down. We go again , me giving him the jump and the results are the same. This whole time he had a car following him at a slight distance.
After I layed it down on the hatch , he peels back and lets the car following him up next to me, the guy motions forward, Purges (had a very loud turbo), and on my nod waits a sec, I rev to send him off. I give this guy the jump and he takes off, (this car was faster than the hatch) he takes a little to reel in but by 100 I still was out by about 3 1/2 to 4 cars . They both get by me and give the thumbs up and honk (really cool guys). The second car was a red 4 door something (really couldnt tell what it was) but it was very small and seemed to have the shape of an accord, but I'm not up on the import cars. As far as I know these cars both had turbos and obvously nitrous. I thought it was kinda funny case the first cars driver kinda had the surprised look of a deer in headlights after our first go.

When I say a few mods, I mean a 383, AFR heads a XE cam and some LT headers. I guess thats just a few..
Oh didnt realize I'm logged in on my Old username (when I had a 93 instead of a 97 T/A).

Good kill, i remmber seeing a bone stock lookin 94 LT1 on the highway, i saw a guage on the Apillar and i said to myself, this should be easy.... ran from a 40 roll and i only pulled him after i hit 4th gear...

turns out he had a 125 shot, and some other bolt ons, we ended up surprsing the crap out of each other, me thinking it was a stock LT1, him thinking its a pos slow honda

Remember, your on a Dumbestic V8(POS) site.
You have a ok car. Mod to mod, nothing for a V8 pos.
If you take offense, go back to RSX.com, or Hondaluvers.com or whatever
And he is right, a bone stock Honda with a turbo/SC, is good for what? mid 14's? Maybe high 13's?(depends on WHAT honda i guess.........speaking of coupe's)anywho........

Steve is right, I had a misleading Sig before, if youread a few posts down from the top I fixed it, When I first bought the car I wrote the sig, But since then Ive been busy.
Before the cam change in the 383 I ran mid 12s very easily, I have since moved up to a differnet cam, a larger T/B , some tuning, and done some more exhaust work along with removng about 50 pounds of weight. I'll have to see in the spring how much gain I received from all that but one of my freinds has a 2001 T/A (auto 3.23s) with int and exh mods and he runs a 13.3. I pulled away from him easier than I did the second red car, the first car was about the same.
Its hard to judge how fast a car youre racing is when youre pulling away but I would say that the red car was probably in the 12s.

Maybe if you would have been here longer than me you would have seen some of my past sigs.
You have no clue, and what you said looks to be a oxymoron.
So, you hate imports, but the anit-import driver/owner........what?
I had a 4cyl, no it wasn't a import(some parts on the car was im sure)......but what are you tryin to say again?
Go ahead, and put your foot in your mouth again
Where i stand, you know where eh?
Tell me then, I have a beer buzz, and I forgot
