Arrow Infinity G35

Has anyone ever had a chace to race one of these? I had a chance to race one from a roll on friday. We raced from a 40 roll and I ended it at 110. Its a pretty fast little coupe. I was only going to toy with it until he started pulling on me , then i gave it full throttle, I got him by about 3 to 4 car lengths, Those cars are pretty expensive to, almost has the 2005 Gto price tag. I had fun. After i beat him he just turned back.
The car was a 2005 Infinity G35 or G35x i couldnt really tell b/c it was pretty dark.

If you had raced from a stop, you'd know if it was a G35 or a G35x.

Good kill!

Re: Infinity G35

Um, his GT was blown with 14psi of boost. I don't really think it's slow, especially compared to a G35. If you had read his sig more carefully, though, you'd see that he had sold the GT and drives a '94 SS now.

Too bad about the GN, Joe. What happened?

G35 runs door to door w/ Gts and you know they can be modded also..I read his sig just fine....There was no SS in 94 doctor, and if he is referring to an impala ss a G35 would eat alive...Sorry if I dont think that a big luxery sedan that runs low 14's isnt slow.

Re: Infinity G35

Pardon me for not being up on my LT1 Camaro history. If I had an LT1, I might care enough to educate myself about the other model years. His sig says '94 SS; I assume he knows what he drives. It's not an unreasonable assumption to make about a member of a car enthusiast discussion board.

You said his GT was slow. You were wrong. I called you on it. End of story.

14psi and spray

I sold it and got a new blazer and S4 then ended up selling both of them and buying a beat up LS1 that I started to build, that (sts turbo and spray) didnt turn out and started to cost to much so I got rid of that and....God I had to many cars ....

Im in the process of getting an 87 this time and KEEPING it cause I love them car....

Yeah, our 87 rocks. It'll see a few more small mods for consistency and reliability, but nothing huge. Mid 12's on street tires. The primary goal is to maintain "sleeper" status (which doesn't work around car guys, I know, but it's what my wife wants).

Ok, the SS is an Impala and isn't stock either but I never said it was fast and I also never mentioned it compared to the G35 .

As for the G35 running door to door with a stock GT maybe your right but for the most part the G35 is running 14.5-8... My 02 GT stock ran a 14.1 @98, my 93Z28 ran 14.2 at 99, I would say the LT1 and my 02 GT was close that race could go either way any day of the week (the Z had alittle more power but the GT hooked up much better). I say "my 02 GT" cause I also owned an 04 GT that couldn't get outta its own way it was so slow, so I sold that, it ran like 14.5 @ 97 and that even good enough to run with a G35 (I didn't say beat but run with).

BTW where the hell did ya come up with talking about my SS?

Yeah 12s are easy with them cars and they hook so hard even on the street. My goal for the GN will be 700rwhp (street car that drives everywhere). Even with my GT them damn GNs were like to only car that would get me nervous pullin next to me at a light or the track, around here the 9sec ones and the stock 14 sec ones look the same . My buddy has on with 700rwhp and it a monster, Im either going to follow in his foot steps modding or talk him into selling it to me, he has 2 and the other has 500rwhp. the 500rwhp one he drive the 700rwhp one hes scared to drive. Maybe I'll have that one and save some wrenching time....

Re: Infinity G35

My friend used to have one and it was a decent car. Gave my 5.0 a run for its money but didn't stand a chance against my LT1. I think i had him by 2 cars in the LT1, that was almost a year ago so my memory isn't that great.

I wouldn't say that's not having a chance , but I beat one (6 speed) by 3-4 cars from 80-115 with 3 other guys in my car (~500 pounds combined) with current mods

Re: Infinity G35

The only one I have seen at the track was a stick car that turned 14.4 at 99. I don't know if he was bone stock or not.
