hot rod vs 5.0

wellone of my friends dad built himself a 36 ford with a 426 hemi, well its was a 426 but has been built by Don McCallum, very well known hemi builder. the mtor runs on pump gas and puts out over 800p NA. the car weighs 3400lbs. its beautiful, black with gold and blue ghost flames.
anyhow, i brought one of my buddies to go see it and he was freakin....so they gy starts it up and says to me, "take him for ride". i couldnt believe it. so i said sure and me and my buddy hopped in. all he told me was, "if you wanna give her, make sure shes straight!" so i pull out and head for the main blvd. we get to the first light to turn left and what comes flying up behind me, a pearl white 5.0 light goes green, i go easy around the turn and slow down the the 5.0 on my ***. i make him wait a little then i git her a shot and roll to the next light which goes yellow as i get there , so naturally i slamm the brakes and hope he'll pull up beside me. just as expected, he bites. i knew he would, as i have seen his car around before with a 12.8 in his window, which is very respectable. so hes beside and listening the tha car idle with the cut-outs open and hes looking at me and starts to crepp forward to see what the beast is making all that noise(theres no hood on the rod). nowe his girlfrind is looking and shes saying something to him but you could see that he looked pretty scared. so the light goes green and i roll out slow and so does he, he wont bite though so we cruise side by side through one light to the next and it goes yellow. so again i hit the brakes as does he.
this time i give him a rev and my buddy is like "he just gave you the look". so thats it the light goes green and i roll out easy with him just infront and then floor. HOLLY **** MAN this car is ******* fast, we blow by him like hes parked and in a matter of seconds hes gone. it happened so fast, i couldnt believ it. im sure the 5.0 let off real soon cause it was so far behind.
i was talking to the owner after and he tells me the car should run high 9's at the track and would be faster if he was tubbed be he put a hydraulic rumble seat instead. anyway i know its not a camaro race but thaught i share one of the greatest days of my life with you guys.

Sarcasm is so cute. When you "ride" your "dark horse" does it give you a reach around?

Oh but I just love kill stories - they're always lame regardless of make/model.

Umm, yeah actually I would take a crack at that bike - at the track of course.

i cant really consider it my kill because its not my car but it was just awsome to be behind the wheel of such a cool car. i know my car should run in the 650rwhp range when im done but this is one beautiful monster he has.i know he has spent over $300,000 in the car. the interior is beautiful as if everything on the car. i wasnt trying to brag about beating a 5.0, i was just exited about getting to drive it. like i said, i know that 5.0 runs at least 12.8 wich is very respectable for a street car.
anyways i will try to get some pics posted of it.
