It sucks when you ACTUALLY DO get beat by Hondas though!?

One night at the track, I was running 13.5's - 13.7's, and a guy ran a 13.1 beside me in a Civic, but as he crossed the line just ahead of me, BIG PUFF OF BLUE SMOKE!!! ..... he blew his motor crossing the line!! (seriously, no joke). I kinda felt bad for the guy. Then again, $h!t happens ..... I blew the driveshaft and tranny outta the '73 last October right at the starting line!! Right as the lights came down and I launched, "BANG!"

But yeah, I wasn't happy about getting beat by the Honda .

 

unless its a nsx. acura i know but still in the honda family.

 

Actually Acura only exists in North America, everywhere else they are Honda NSXs.

 

NSX isn't even that fast. It just looks cool.

 

True. They're only ~280 HP, and WAY over-priced.

none to date and ive had the car since new and it just passed 4 years ownership.

On a side note.. I have a question. FastZinTennesee... are you the one with that Z28 or SS doing SEVERE donuts in some parkinglot, and then taking off down the street sideways, then doing donuts at the end of the street, coming back towards the camera, stopping and saying "thats my car", and taking off? I keep watching it (iv'e had it for quite some time though..) and all of a sudden I'm like, "IS THAT FASTZINTENNESEE????" lol.

 

Nope that's not me. I have some burnout pictures, but I've never taken a video of my car doing donuts. Do you have a way to post the video? I'd like to see it

No 1/4 mile at Mosport (I wish!!! ).

I've raced at both Cayuga (toronto motorsports park) and Shannonville (shannonville). Cayuga is definitely a much better track. Shannonville uses the back stretch of their road course for the 1/4 mile strip. There are a couple other tracks in Ontario too ... Grand Bend and St. Thomas. I've never run there, but would like to get to them at some point too (I've meant to the last couple summers ... but plans have changed ).

I'd like to try the road course at Mosport though.

 

I hear there KOTH challanges are quite good there, I had never been there i just assumed since you are so close I am really gonna try and get out to some tracks this year up till know I just run on the street. Who knows Maybe I'll get a chance to run you
