Got first kill. Kind of humbled

Well I got my first kill last night but I must admit I am kind of surprised at the result. But maybe I ust dont know what a 5.0 is capable of.

Here is the car.

Its a 1990 mustang gt 5.0 5 speed. Its got drag lite 15 inch rims with the skinny ones up front. A fiberglass hood and wing, and also spare tire removed etc. He lightened it up.
Off-road H pipe and flomaster muffler. 3.73 gears and a 75 shot of nitrous.

THe first time we went from around 70 on the highway and I was in third and I just walked right away...he said he didnt have his nitrous on and I was thinking yeah right.

Second time we went from around 60 and I was in 3rd which kind of sucked because it was inbetween gears kind of. He went before me and got a jump so I started when I was at his door and I only ended up being about 2 feet ahead of him by the end of 3rd gear then we slowed down for cars. I pulled steadily but not very fast. His nitrous worked that time.

The last race was from about a 10 mph roll. I actually got a slight jump this time. We raced till about 100 mph and I had maybe 3 car lengths on him.

Note that he is a better driver than me by far and my second to third gear shift take me about twice as long...lol

Should it have been this close???

I figured I would just embarass him...but he held his own.

Yeah. I guess it sounds about right. I was just really impressed with it.

Last weekend at the car show I was with him and we pulled on a 99+ GT auto that had full exhaust and a cam. With his 5.0.

SO I guess I should feal good about the win.

Moving to the kill section.

BTW: Save it for the track.
