From a dead stop we floored it. I spun like realy bad went side ways and almost lost it. got back into it and got with in about 2 car lenths at about 120-125.

He was a 5 speed 99 GT I think he was Super charged. He had gauges on the A piller. This was a very nice car, nice big chrome wheels, nice big exhaust, big cowl hood, custom paint ect.

We made it to a light and i told him i ran a 13.303@106 and he said his was a high 12 sec car. He also said he had "Drag suspenion" that was not working right.

I did noticed he has his baby in the back car seat. If I had known that I would not have raced him. This was all done on a long lonley strech of freeway feeder roads with only me and him on it.

 

man why are people so stupid to do something like that. that is so selfish, not even thinking about kid

 

What a loser......racing on the street with a baby in the back. He doesn't deserve that car.

 

I found out he post on a local mustang web site. Imgoing to find him and let him know that if you want to kill your self thats ok, but leave the kid at home.

I kinda blame my self too but I did not know he had the kid with him untill the end. If I did I would have just let him go.

 

Why?

It's his own fault for racing with a toddler in the car.

If he only had you by two at that speed, and you were spinning/fishtailing that bad, I would think his car is more of a low 13 second car. If you start to fishtail so hard that you have to even get off the throttle that can easily set you back 2 car lengths. I bet your car would be dead even with his if you could hook up.

that aside, I think he is a ****ing dick. I wouldnt even race someone with my friends in the car. Inless they really wanted me too. I hate doing stupid **** with other people in the car. I can't believe he would with a baby in the car though. Thats just being a dick. But then again, he does drive a Mustang ... And its not a 5.0 or a 03-04 Cobra. This tells you he sucks at life.

 

Guys like that dont deserve to live............ or a car and a kid..........

To the OP, the baby in the back seat was a nice touch. Can't say how many morons in both V6 Stangs, Maro's around here trying the same thing with me.........I'm just a little mature enough to not race them.
And yes, it isn't that hard to spot these things at the light either.

seph ~ I wasn't saying the car isn't capable of low 12's. But if he hooked up, and only had 2 cars on this guys F-body when he was spinning like crazy, I wouldnt expect it to run nearly halkf a second faster. If he is spinning like crazy and only looses my 2 cars, that could totally be drivers error. It's pretty easy to "spin" two carlengths away. And he was reeling him in I believe so I would think his car actually is faster than the mustang. Plus the camaro guy gave him exact times and this guy just came back with High 12's. High 12's sound just a bit faster than his time. The guy probably never even took it to the track ... And I still cant believe someone would race with a baby in the car. Thats SOOOOOOOO absurd. They are the same idiots that give everyone with a fast car a bad rep. Cause htey are the same ones that peel out at every green light, race every car that revs at them, and probably weave in and out of traffic all day long everyday ... What a dick wad.

 

The assneck in the Rustang should get his nuts cut off for racing with a child in the car --- seriously.
