the trolls i miss are gotboost and calico cat. gotboost made the honda vtec out to be faster than the speed of light and lied about his set up, and calico cat bluffed too hard calling everyone out to pinks to race for keeps. someone called him out with a blown 427, willing to put up an additional $10k, and we never heard from him again. just like poker, if you call all in, better have something to back it up.

I miss old Steve. Gotboost too. Gotboost had a running buddy, badazzlt1 I think, and 87integra or something like that. And sergio whatever. All those guys made for entertaining flame wars. Now all we've got is SSR

Yea I recently came back after a few years probably from a lack of owning something performance wise, but hopefully that will change soon. I as of late have got bitten by the bug again to get a muscle car.. but yea this place has lost alot of members.

Same here I just came back to this message board,a year after selling my camaro z28.I have that addiciting performance poison in my blood again.Getting back into it like I was.What better time???With the new bad azz camaro approved for production.I do remember Antz97z from a couple years back.

 

Yea good times, Ill be more active around here as soon as I get something..Probably go the cheap route and build up another LT1 or maybe even a LS1. Dont need the payments/added collision insurance and gas isnt getting any cheaper. For around 2-3k(Bolt ons,Llyold Elliot parts) you could have one hell of a weekend warrior.

 

I was reading threads on this site for about 7 months before i joined and i remember reading alot of threads where gotboost? was flamed pretty bad. IIRC, he stopped posting on this forum shortly after that thread. There are still a few trolls/ignoramus' lurking around here.

I loved reading cody 19wv's posts about his Cobra killer and how much more money he made compared to everyone in this forum combined.
