I think you mean it would be your best kill. I know, it sucks when u have a dry spell & dont catch any good races for a while. I tried to race this younger guy in an LT1 corvette & he did'nt even wanna race for some reason, so bored sometimes when im drivin around.

Not even sort of worth the gas to give you your "first loss".

I guarantee vicory against you barring any mechanical problems. Wanna run? Go to your local track, you will get pounded so many times and come home humbled with your tail between your legs. I pound cars with your mods every time at my track on a monthly basis.

I've seen plenty of taillights. I know my place. I'm not cocky at all, I just speak the truth. You don't think I can beat a near stock LT1 in the 1/4 mile? Wanna bet money on it? I bet you and I would be a good race in the 1/4 mile if you are stock. I know you would pull me from any speed roll.

Re: getting cocky

I would say with your mods you would edge me out in the 1/4 steve y.Finnaly I admitted to it,but I think I might be able to best your stock run of 14 flat.

Yes you should be able to run better than 14.0 with good driving. My car was not stock when I ran that time, see sig. People have gone as fast as 13.6 in bone stock cars like mine, but not me. People have gone as fast as 13.4 in bone stock LT1s, too. Now a roll start I would have my hands full with you and possibly lose. My major advantage is the tires, other than that this car isn't that fast.

Re: getting cocky

Re: getting cocky

1994 camaro z28 m6:k&n cold air,tb air foil,zoom clutch.
Are you F&*king kidding me?
You have a CAI and a Air Foil, and are making a blanket challenge?

mid 80s monte carlo ss
99+ gt,
bout a 90 5.0 mustang
chrysler lhs
Judging the competition, the only car that would stood a chance assuming all cars were stock, was the 99+ GT.
Also, I really can't take someone serious that mentions whipping up on a Chrysler LHS....

But for what its worth, go to a track on a test and tune night and race a few of the Mustangs that show up at the track and see how you do.

I think the vast majority of people here know there place on the food chain, and its time you learn yours.
Lastly, I have a feeling this thread will get locked pretty fast.

Does anybody read my sig? The 14.0 was before the last round of mods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know my car is considerably faster than 14.0, now. I'm not talking smack just thinking it would be a good race. Does anybody have a stock Mach 1 around here that want's to run? I am going to take out the old time and have no time until I get a new one because so many people can't read.

Re: getting cocky

Steve if you wanna run em you can drive about 3 hours west on I80, then take 680S for about 15 minutes and you'll be in my city and we can run em.

I would love to run them, but that is a pretty far drive. I may be running at www.sacramentoraceway.com this winter. Maybe we can hook up then. What city are you in? If you ever get near Reno, shout at me and we will line them up. I think it would be a close race if you are bone stock. Me pulling out of the hole and you playing catch up. The fastest bone stock car like mine went 13.6s. The fastest bone stock car like yours went 13.1s. I'm sure my mods will lop at least a half second off of my cars time and most likely more. I've run stock LS1s and never lost to one yet. This is why I think we would be a good run.

Yes the 99+ gt gave me the most competition, but from about 45 mph punch I Pulled ahead and the gt just kept slowly losing ground.I know I shouldnt brag about the chrysler lhs win,but it was a friend of mine at work just racing for the fun of it.I know I will eventually get my *** handed to me,but it just has not happened yet.I guess I havnt ran into the right car and driver combination yet.The closest drag strip to me is an 1/8 mile track which is about a half an hour drive for me.I keep saying im going to go,but it seems like every chance I get to go on thursday nights it either gets rained out or something is mechanically wrong with my car.I have this thursday off so I think im going to give it a shot and see what my car will do in the 1/8 now that my car is running strong again.Im kinda afraid about getting my first loss.By the way,my sig has not been updated I did a tb bypass recently.
