german spec

I got a story for you guys. Im currently stationed in Germany and one of the guys in my unit has an 02 Z28, nothin special bone stock, auto. one day last week we were on the autobahn just crusin, we pulled up next to this older bmw 7 series and started messing with the guy. It took alittle persuation but we got him to play. So we took off hard and were going about 130 and this dude was just glued to our a$$, when we hit around 140 this guy just shot past us like we were standing still. we buryed the neddle and this dude was just gone this dude had to be going over 300kph which is around 180mph. All I have to say after that old a$$ bm spanked us like that is that we got em in the 1/4 but you cant even touch a german spec bmw in top end power. Im sure that dude got up around 190.

Re: german spec

If you have access to Kazaa, do a search for "E55 AMG"

That car is bada$$. I foud a video of one doing burnouts, and another video of an E55 vs. a Z06. The Z-06 was able to pull ahead, but they had to be going 150 plus before they shut down. Those cars are built to go 155 MPH all day long on the Autobahn. The larger sedans like the 7 series have enough power to push the air out of the way, though I don't know about smaller German cars. You may not win a drag race in a BMW, but you can get where you're going awfully fast.
