Fried rice

Well my g/f and I were on our way home from picking up food at the pizza shop earlier tonight. So it's a 2 lane road & the light ahead turns red. I'm sitting in the left hand lane & I notice a car with some younger kids pull up next to me (sitting a little bit further back then me). I could'nt tell what kind of car it was at first. But I knew it was a rice burner when I rolled down my window & heard the faint buzz of his fart can at idle. So the light is about to turn green & I can hear him getting his rpms up to get ready & launch. So my blood starts pumping & I'm all ready to go. Light turns green & I did'nt even wait for him I just nailed it. I look back & he's atleast 2-3 car lengths behind me when I shifted into 2nd. To my disapointment it was only a riced out Chevy Cavalier with a hideous primar colored body kit. Boy do I love surprising rice burners with my dad's stock 95' Chevy Z71.

Nice kill, it's always fun to beat them in something that wasn't meant for racing (more fair that way). Hell, I beat an engine swapped civic in my moms mercury villager once. The look on the guys face was priceless, I just wish I had had a camera.

I was about to ask you why it took all the way to the shift to 2nd to get 2-3 cars on a ricer, but I guess thats not too shabby for a pickemup.

I know what you mean. I stomped a riced out Civic in my daily driver (95 Beretta) a few months ago. Much fun
